| we are not going to agree. So I am going to retreat to my original relevant point: You do not need to bring your guns with you to Canada because you will not need them here. No more so than you need to carry a hammer around in case a nail pops up (which statistically speaking you are more likely to encounter). (as an aside, I have had this conversation with many of my American friends before. I know that there are plenty of pro-gun advocates that are well educated regular people with families, businesses etc. i understand that peoples views are formed by the circumstances that they are in. I am not saying that you are a wingnut. That said, you will be safe here without your gun. In fact, I would say your highest chance of facing hostility would be a result of getting caught here with an illegal weapon)
